Strandvaus was established in1989 by Anne and Frank McMorrow as a one vehicle operation in the North West of Ireland. Since then, Strandvaus has grown and developed from strength to strength. To date it holds a modern fleet of 50 tractor units, 90 refrigerated trailers with additional box and refrigerated vans with over 130 staff employed nationwide.
In 2007, we established and registered a business in Northern Ireland, and by 2009 we relocated to a 30.000 sq. ft. warehouse facilitating providing frozen, chilled and ambient storage in Collooney, Co. Sligo. In 2010, the business received Department of Agriculture approval and BRC accreditation. In 2012, distribution hubs were situated in Sligo, Northern Ireland, Dublin and more recently Limerick allowing all areas of the country to be serviced by Strandvaus fleet.
Over the past two decades Strandvaus had developed and grown through innovative thinking and adapting to the changing industry, and providing our customers with the highest standards from a very well organised and professional workforce. We aim to achieve steady growth whilst continuing to maintain the highest standards and providing our customers and staff with a company they can trust.
